A new era

Today, with the democratization of means of production and the multiplication of non-traditional media, we are witnessing the emergence of a new culture and a new way of creating.

Institutions and funding bodies need to adjust and ensure a better distribution of resources. Change is possible, but we need to open dialogue and listen to the community. The Sommet Dynastie is our way of being an active and positive agent of change. The industry needs to realize that to survive, it must renew itself, and our creators are part of the solution.
‍
We hope you'll enjoy diving back into the uplifting conversations that took place at the first edition.

Le livre noir

It is with great pride that we present "The Black Book", the report following the Sommet Dynastie held on November 4 and 5, 2022. This first edition was an unprecedented collective experience, bringing together players from the media and cultural industries around a shared reflection aimed at building new ideas.
‍
The Summit's intention was clear: to question, rethink and co-construct industries that reflect our communities. We sought to rebuild trust, strengthen our community and foster knowledge sharing. In a dynamic approach, in the company of our experts, the participants were called upon to take action and put their knowledge to good use to foster together an equitable distribution of available resources, in order to develop authentic and representative content and cultural goods.
‍
This report is the fruit of these enriching encounters, where we explored innovative avenues, confronted our ideas and developed foundations for the future of our industries. Here we share the lessons learned, in the hope of inspiring and encouraging concrete action for more inclusive and equitable environments.

We are convinced that our "The Black Book" will be a source of information for all, amplifying the voices of Afro-descendant creators and opening up new perspectives for our communities.

Happy reading!
